Spring Break Boredom.

Elizabeth is Ofcourse reading up a storm for spring break. While Malea is practicing her art. She drew a fabulous Elephant yesterday.

Billy Martin's Circus

We all enjoyed a trip to the circus on Saturday. There were a number of fun acts, including a women who could hula hoop with 35 hoops, a very bendy Argentinian named Kevine, and a guy who could balance on all sorts of things. I thought the bendy guy was a bit creepy. There weren't any animals, but there was one snake. The girls were brave enough to get there picture taken with him.

Elizabeth's X-country Ski Race

Elizabeth raced at Dewey Mountain tonight. She did great! She had a small crash at the finish line but quickly recovered and finished.

Malea's Hockey Tournament

Hockey Tournament Today!

We are at Malea's Hockey tournament. Her team is doing awesome. So far 3 for 3. Woohoo Malea!

We drove by the ice castle tonight.

We drove by the ice castle tonight. It is beautiful all lit up. So far we've seen a ice Unicorn and I believe there is a dragon inside.

Update: Elizabeth Cross Country Skiing

Elizabeth had another ski race yesterday. Even though she did not feel well she decided to race, with out any input from Mom or Dad. She did well, 3K in 27:30. Malea enjoyed downhill skiing at Pisgah while Elizabeth did her cross country at the VIC.

We finally figured out how to tire Elizabeth out. School, Cross Country Skiing, and a round of Snowboarding topped off with a snuggly dog, warm fire and the floor...

Malea walking on Moody Pond

Malea and her friend Olivia got to walk across Moody Pond for the first time this year.

Harley Shopping...

Harley shopping with the family! Malea prefers the orange one, I like the black one personally. ( We were actually shopping for snowmobile helmets in the Harley shop, but boy did the Harley's look nice!) We even found the one Grandpa owns!

Winter Activities...

Elizabeth is having fun learning to snowboard. She says she spends more time with her butt in the snow then going down the mountain. She is still going after it though.

Malea is loving hockey and skiing, although she says hockey is her favorite. She is doing great at both. 

Malea and Elizabeth are both pursuing music. Malea likes her violin and the piano. Elizabeth prefers percussion and voice, and has recently started playing the drum set for Jazz Band.
